A safe place for women and children to land when families hit rocky waters
.Established in 2013, Jodie's Place offers a safe refuge home for up to 11 women and children in the Cessnock local government area and lower Hunter region. We can help with clothing, food, toys etc.
Jodie's Place is available all hours 24/7 when in domestic violence or crisis. Contact us.
We provide other services including advice, advocacy and support, workshops and an op shop.
We support all women and children who use our services in a non-judgmental way.
We are a non-government, not-for-profit organisation, so we run on generosity
from the community and local businesses.
The refuge is run by volunteers and is supported by the Huntlee Property Group.
